Form your team

Sign up solo or with a crew. No experience needed. We hold a team-matching session at the start so nobody arrives without collaborators.

Mentors are on-site the entire time. Workshops run throughout the event. Build an app, game, website, or anything. The only goal is to ship something that didn't exist before.

A hackathon is an event where you team up with others to build a project in a set amount of time. An app, website, game, or anything you can dream up. It's less about competition and more about learning, creating, and connecting with people who share your curiosity.
Nope. Synthesis Hacks is designed for beginners. You might be surprised what you can build with a little guidance and a good team. We'll have mentors available throughout the event.
Synthesis Hacks is open to all high school students (grades 9–12). No prior experience required. Just curiosity and a willingness to try.
Teams of 2–4 people. Don't have a team yet? No worries. We'll have a team-matching session at the start so you can find collaborators.
Synthesis Hacks is free to attend. We believe great opportunities should be accessible to everyone.
The hackathon runs for 12 hours at our Mountain View campus. Full schedule details will be released closer to the event.
